In nature, a lot of things are folded: proteins, blossoms, our brain… For ages, people have folded thin paper into exquisite shapes and forms. In this documentary, these two disciplines are brought together. How has the art of origami entered the area of science and in what way is it guiding scientific research?

Rethinking Aid and Development

70s Jam Session

On the 28th (yeah not the 21st) of February Music Committee MuCG will be hosting another edition of its always popular jam session. This time they will play songs exclusively from the 70s, so dress accordingly and be ready to enjoy some Pink Floyd, Queen and more. Food and drinks will be available and entrance is free of charge.

Ongehoord

With their second anniversary coming up in April, ‘Ongehoord’ will have a good (yet cheap) party to celebrate. This edition will be an "experimental playground for things to come”. Which in plain English means that they won’t be sticking to one genre but mix it all up and combine techno with drum & bass and electro with dubstep (and who knows what else), all on the same dancefloor.

Experience Groningen 2019: Beyond the Student Bubble

Stukafest Groningen 2019
