11th Board Application
Want to take on a leadership role and shape the future of Caerus? Apply now for the 11th board!
There are 7 positions available (find out more about the positions in the policy manual):
- Chair: Leads the board and keeps everything running smoothly while motivating the team. Represents Caerus at events, leads meetings, and connects with committees, faculty, and external partners. Focuses on both short-term goals and the long-term vision of the association.
- Secretary: Keeps everything organized by handling communication, taking meeting minutes, and managing important documents. Schedules meetings, sends out updates, and ensures that information is well-documented and easily accessible.
- Treasurer: Manages the finances of Caerus, making sure the budget is balanced and funds are used wisely. Works closely with committees, oversees transactions, and ensures financial transparency for the association.
- External Affairs Officer: Builds relationships with sponsors, companies, and other organizations to create career opportunities and partnerships. Helps organize networking events and ensures Caerus maintains a strong presence within the broader community.
- Public Relations Officer: Handles the public image of Caerus by managing social media, designing promotional materials, and keeping members informed. Ensures all communication is engaging and visually appealing while maintaining a consistent brand style.
- Committee Affairs Officer (2 positions): Supports committees by helping them stay on track, solving any challenges, and ensuring smooth operations. Regularly checks in with committees, and organizes meetings.
*One of the Committee Affairs Officers (CAOs) is involved with the UCSRN community. In addition to their CAO duties, they also chair the UCSRN committee in Caerus and facilitate our connection with UCSRN.
*Applications are open from February 20th (9 AM) to March 7th (12 PM).
