Dear 2021,

What a year you have been!

I remember myself from last year, writing to your dear old friend 2020 with hopes that you'd be good to me. Now, after exactly 365 days, I am here to say thank you for keeping your promise. We had our ups and downs, we had joyful moments as well as terribly tragic ones. You gave me happiness, you gave me hope. You gave me tears and anger. You made me run, stop and  think. You made me love. You made me crash. You gave me the courage to jump, to scream, to cry.  You gave me the world to explore, parties to attend, and ideas to share. You gave me people to listen to, people to kiss, people to fight with and people to trust. 

You gave me a life to live. 

You know you haven't always been the best, but you helped me to become the person I am now, and for that, I am grateful.

I don't know what is going to come next, but I hope it is going to be as full of adventures as you were.

Goodbye, dear 2021, safe travel to the past. 

Welcome 2022, with hopes that you will bring good to all of us.
